2014 NOMMA Clifford H. Brown Award
Owner Mark O’Malley received the Clifford H. Brown award at the 2014 NOMMA conference in Pennsylvania. This is an award for recognition of outstanding contributions to education, Mark always puts his best efforts in to give back to the educational side of this craft to teach others about his passion.
2010 NOMMA Ernest Wiemann Award
We have won awards for outstanding craftsmanship in an international competition sponsored by the National Ornamental and Miscellaneous Metals Association (NOMMA). This event was open to nearly 800-member firms throughout the U.S. and foreign countries.

From humble beginnings Mark O’Malley founded O’Malley Welding in 1985 working part time on a rented farm house. He moved the company to the first shop in Batavia IL 1987 and went full time 1992. By 1997 the company out grew the first shop and was relocated to its current home in Yorkville IL. 2016 saw further growth for O’Malley Welding and Fabricating by almost doubling the shop size. Now O’Malley Welding is sitting on an acre of land with about 12,000 sq foot of workable space with a shop full of some of the industry’s top fabricators and equipment.
